My tomatoes were mostly green when the first frost came. If one had the slightest blush I set it on the kitchen counter. They all ripened and were delish.

We picked over 700 lbs of tomatoes just before the frost came. Many of our outside tomatoes were just getting started. We picked and stored anything from green to showing any color. The more ripe ones we {Our CSA members and us here at the farm}all enjoyed We all have been enjoying the rest over the last few weeks. We just go through and sort them each week taking out the ripest to eat and preserve and compsting any that are starting to spoil.
