Frosties and smoothies made with melons

Watermelon Lemonade with Berries

 2 cups seeded, cold watermelon chunks     1/2 cup frozen raspberries or strawberries

1/2 cup chilled lemonade       1-2 Tbls sugar or honey (to taste)          8-10 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender and whir until well blended.  Pour into large, frosty mugs. 

Serves 2.                 Per serving:  Calories: 130  Vitamins A, 6% DV and C, 42% DV

Frosty Cantaloupe Smoothie 

2 cups cantaloupe chunks 1 cup orange juice

2 Tbls sugar or honey to taste 8 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender and whir until well blended.  Pour into large frosty mugs. 

Serves 2.      Per serving:  Calories: 157  Vitamins A, 54% DV and C, 217% DV.
