Great-Grandma Anna's Rhubarb Pie

3 eggs (save 2 whites for meringue)

1 1/2 cup sugar

2 1/2 Tbsp. flour

3 cups rhubarb

dash of nutmeg

Mix these ingredients and place in unbaked pie shell.  Bake 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes.  While pie bakes prepare meringue.  

2 egg whites

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

Beat whites until frothy.  Gradually add sugar and beat until very stiff.  Add vanilla.  Spread on top of hot pie and brown for about 20 minutes.
